Our lives in cities today are far removed from nature, our evolutionary home. We live in technologically-oriented concrete structures that deprive our senses of connection with other life forms. On a mission to rekindle this lost connection, the filmmaker travels to remote parts of the world. Along the way to self discovery, she finds that cultures that were deeply rooted in their connection with nature are transforming under the influence of tourism and modernity. They too are moving to urban settings and face growing social inequality, where children involuntarily become the most vulnerable. Alongside these observations, the filmmaker uses narration to describe her personal journey to unlearning the myths of her city upbringing and discovering her human connection with nature.
