Barbara Rosenthal was in town for a photography exposition and we more then gladly invited her to take part of our festival. Her works are in the realm of surreal minimal commentaries of our society, or call it American avangarde. The project Postcards began as a series of 35mm slides shot while driving to Florida in 1988, and from the window of her top-floor loft on Avenue of the Americas, NYC. In 1990, a slide-adapter transferred three slides to VHS, and text was added with Amiga computer. It´s a safe bet to say she will set the tone for this most surreal of the nights at boddinale.
